Ganesh Chaturthy was celebtrated at its best at Sapda, best known as Ganesh on hill near Jamnagar, mere 10-15 km from city yet in its nature abode, with a magnificient view and with Sapda dam nearby.

Siddhi Vinayak Temple @ Sapda is believed to be more then 600 year old, it is believed that ancient kings of Halar (Chavda Dynasty) build this temple and Later Jam Kings protected the temple.

 This year Ganesh Chaturthy was celebrated with mahaprasad,Maha-aarti and maha bhojan.

In the evening there was Santwani program with participants like Mayabhai Ahir and Kirtidan Gadhvi, around 50-60,000 audience participated in the program and enjoyed it.
